Where appropriate the college uses Essex County Council to provide travel training for the learners who are preparing to leave Southview.  Students learn the basics of staying safe in the community and how to find information about bus and train times.   Learners can go on to complete the independent travel module working 1:1 with a travel trainer learning how to take transport to a local college or employer.  For more information about travel training click the link https://www.travel-training.co.uk/
